Ashok Nimgade, '76, was the host for the Boston area AIS-AES dinner gathering on 14 April 2008! Guest of Honor was Sunaina Suneja, '75, who was in the United States for two weeks to promote her family business. There were some no-shows so it was a small - but wonderful - group of alumnae (and their spouses) together for dinner. Good Indian food, good music, good company...and lots of fun!! Folks even skyped Deepak Sen, '74 in New Delhi. We were going to call Sunil Mahajan,'74, too, but skype wasn't working right and figured he didn't want a collect call (right, Sunil? hahaha)

The next day Mary (Flanagan) Williamson,'74, and Sunaina dedicated the day as "Boston in 12 Hours" - a walking tour Ashok mapped out. They literally walked around and through downtown Boston...over the bridge...and into Cambridge!! They did lots of sightseeing in-between with a big lunch break at one of Boston's best lobster restaurants! That night, Ashok and Sunaina also taught Mary how to make a perfect cup of Indian chai.

This gathering was so much fun that everyone wants to get together again. So keep checking on the web site for future gatherings and join in!

Thank you again, Ashok, for the first Boston-area dinner! It was a total success.

—Mary
