I've enjoyed reading the class news from everyone. I'm sorry I didn't get to the reunion this summer. I was in San Francisco with my family attending my son's graduation from graduate school. What a great city. So, to bring you up to date on what I've been up to....

I started at AIS during the 8th grade and left spring quarter of my Junior year. I moved back to Akron Ohio for my senior year of high school.

I attended Kent State University where I met my husband Howard. He and I have been married since 1976 and have two wonderful children; Matt (25) and Jacqui (22). Matt is living in the San Francisco Bay area and is working in the bio-tech industry. He loves it there. Jacqui is finishing up her last year at Kent State.

We have been living in the Cleveland area for all these years, and it finally feels like home. I love North East Ohio.....but not the winters!

Professionally, I was an aerobics instructor for years....what else do you do with a Sociology degree? I started working at an area hospital in a lock down situation for chemically dependent adolescents. It whetted my thirst for more education in the field. I received my dual masters degree in exercise physiology and sport management in 1995. I worked mainly in cardio-pulmonary rehab.

Howard's IT company expanded during the great 90's explosion and he asked for my help. So now, I work part time for him - from my home which I love- doing the HR and bookkeeping end of things. It's a small company so it's very manageable for me. I still train people, but I treasure my free time. I enjoy gardening, hiking and biking in the metro parks behind our home. My daughter, Jacqui is home for the Summer and I'm loving playing with her. We have two very old dogs, 12 gold fish and endless frogs in the pond in the back yard.

So "hello" to all and I hope to make it to the next reunion.
