Dear Alumni,

As promised we finally got the dates of the AES European Reunion - Rome 2009. We are trying to get the right balance between low season prices and attractions availability. Considering this, the Reunion will be from the 24-25 and 26 of July 2009.

We are thinking about organizing a lunch on Friday 24th so that the evening is free to be organized on the spot. Other possibility is dinner on Friday and brunch on Saturday, but these are minor problems that can be organized considering everybodies ideas and can be done later on.

What you need is the dates to book the aircraft and hotel accommodation. Here we have some options:

1. We suggest this link: www.expedia.com where you can still find very cheap and good quality hotels;


2. Luca Bruno, AES class of 1990, can obtain good discount in the hotel he works for (Bettoja Massimo D'Azeglio - Rome) but he has to know how many people are coming for sure and he has to reach at least 15 rooms.


3. A good travel agent is Pelloni Massimo, King Holidays in Rome at pelloni@kingholidays.it Alums need to specify they were referred to by Luca and related to the AES Rome Reunion.

I hope that everyone will hasten to tell us if they come or not so that we can ar-range everything in the best way. Of course you are free to arrive before the 24th and leave after the 26th, we'll help you with your stay. I thank you all and I really hope to see the most of you because we have at least 20 years of arrears to tell.
