Several people have asked if we are planning another AIS/AES PICNIC at our house in September. Due to family obligations, we are foregoing the picnic this year. Hopefully your interest remains high next year so we have the opportunity
to host another picnic then. Looking forward to seeing you next year. Best wishes to all.

From correspondence collection of Charles Bakey (father of Suzanne Fricke Class of 1972), an article on one of his many projects in Delhi, the remodeling of the ambassador's residence with Mrs. Daniel Patrick Moynihan ("Liz"), wife of Ambassador Moynihan and mother of Maura Moynihan, Class of 1975.
Liz Moynihan was very involved in all aspects of this project, and the end results were stunning.
2016 DUES REMINDER
posted 4 August 2016
We appreciate and thank members who have paid their 2016 AIS/AES Alumni Association dues. Your dues help cover annual expenses such as web hosting, bank fees, domain name fees, search engine fees, fees to maintain our tax status as a non-profit organization and other administrative expenses.
Dues also provide us with down-payment money and toward planning expenses for our all-school reunions every five years.
Unlike many colleges and other associations, we only ask for a nominal $25, however welcome any donation amount!
For information on how to pay dues, if you haven't yet, please visit http://aisaes.org/DuesPage.htm.
Again, thank you for your continued support.

Say hello to Shelley Johnson (Class of 1972; seated on the right). Many of you might remember that Shelley was a Member at Large for about five years -- retiring from our Board of Directors in 2010.
Shelley continues to stay in touch with alumni, and it's always good to see her and catch up whenever there is an opportunity.
At lunch with Shelley was current Board President and friend, Mary Williamson (Class of 1974), who said: "We changed it up and ate Chinese this time!"

THANK YOU TO OUR CUSTODIANS AND MAINTENANCE TEAMS
posted 24 July 2016
Too often, we take
for granted all the hard work that was physically put into building our school over the years and
the custodians and maintenance teams that continue to take care of it and the campus. Because of them, we have one of the most beautiful schools and loving memories of it. Thank you!
Above, the photo of the construction workers was taken in 1968; and the photo of the custodians and maintenance team was taken in 1969. (Click on photos to see them enlarged.) They were the beginning
...there are many, many more who have and continue to contribute! Thank you again!!
