Dear AES Alumni,

American Embassy School hosted the 2nd Annual AES Alumni Reception on December 17th, 2009.  Dr. Hetzel, Director, welcomed the alumni and emphasized that the continual efforts of the AES Development Office were to develop, build and strengthen the sense of community among the AES alumni – no matter if one was here for a year or thirty years.

This year, the school initiated three AES Awards to recognize outstanding Alumni for their dedication and loyalty to the AES community. Each of these individuals contributed in different ways to share and enhance the AES spirit among the alumni.  They are:

KC Gray Siebert, Class of 1970 – recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award
Alfie Campbell, parent & friend – recipient of the Distinguished Friend Award
Bandana Sen, faculty – recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Award

KC, Alfie and Bandana have been consistent and true to AES for many decades and fully embody what it means to be a distinguished member of the AES community.

We look forward to your continued involvement in the Alumni community.  Information about upcoming activities and events will be posted to the AES Alumni web page.  If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.

Until next time, best wishes to you and your family for a happy and healthy New Year.

Best regards,
Preeti Garg
