Penny Parr, mother of Stevens Parr (Class of 1967) edited News Circle magazine from 1965 to 1968. While News Circle was the official magazine of the Delhi American Womens Club, it did not focus on Womens Club issues but concentrated on life in India.
The depth and breadth of the subjects covered provide a fascinating view of India during that time. All of the surviving issues will be published on this website.
Thank you, Stevens, for sharing with us.

Second of Editor Penny Parr's News Circle. Table of Contents are on page 2. Credits listing Editor, Artists, Photographers, and everyone else who helped produce
this issue are on page 4.
Some may notice that the cover shows this as being the September issue. Apparently there was some sort of printing mix-up that made it necessary to leave September 1965 on the cover. It is the October issue, complete with Penny Weidul's Halloween cover. Enjoy!

One of my favorite covers by John Blee (Class of 1966) and lots of really interesting articles mostly focused on Christmas in India.
Table of Contents on page 2, credits
on page 4. In these issues, there are unsigned humorous cartoons - they were done by Penny Parr (my mom) who, all her life, delighted in the genre.
