Anne Beattie Kerr (AIS Class of 1967), who served as Treasurer of the AIS/AES Alumni Association, announced her retirement at the March 2nd, 2019 Board meeting. Anne was our longest-serving officer and will be fondly remembered for her hard work keeping our finances organized, her central role in several
all-classes reunion planning, for helping facilitate the association and hosting the yearly alumni picnics at her beautiful home in Castleton, Virginia.
We will greatly miss Anne's dedication to the association and her comradery during our board meetings and get-togethers. We are happy to learn that Anne and her husband Tim will continue hosting their yearly picnics, where old friends and those alumni new to the gatherings have met over the years to enjoy potluck meals and share India stories.
When Anne's family was stationed in Burma (now called Mynmar) in 1965-1966, she attended AIS as a boarder. The other students in the Boarding Unit were Anne's family in India, and she stays in touch with many of them. Like many other alumni whose parents moved from post-to-post, Anne left Delhi before her class graduated.
Please join us in extending our best wishes to Anne in her retirement. We greatly appreciate her energy and efforts to help build the association, and we look forward to seeing her at reunions, picnics and other get-togethers.

Happy Retirement, Anne!
