FROM RICHARD WILSON (CLASS OF 1985)
The AES "Let's Party Like It's 1985" mini-reunion last weekend brought together many friends and many memories from the 80's decade. A shout-out to Lisa Fox Langhaug (Class of 1984), who was unable to attend from Africa; but we thought of her. Here is a photo of Lisa (center) and her daughter taken in July 2010 when they came to visit me at my gourmet pub, "Maggie's," in Habersham, Beaufort, South Carolina.

AIS/AES 2015 REUNION HOTEL ANNOUNCEMENT
The Board of Directors is happy and excited to announce the venue for the all-school AIS/AES 2015 REUNION (the weekend of 10-12 July 2015). We will be hosting it at the HYATT REGENCY CRYSTAL CITY in Arlington, Virginia. We picked the Hyatt because it is a beautiful hotel with a warm, clean, friendly atmosphere; and it is conveniently close to Reagan National Airport, the Crystal City Metro Station/shopping center, and downtown Washington, DC. (Yes, the hotel provides free shuttle buses to/from the airport and to/from the metro station!)

AES CLASSMATES GET TOGETHER
Photo taken 23 December 2013
Classmates from the Class of 1981 - Pixy Kohli Kauble (left), Doug Taylor, and Monika Lynde - met in Vienna, Virginia, this past December for the first time in 38 years! Pixy excitedly said, "I think this photo captures the joy we were having!!" (email dated 9 March 2014)
FROM COLLEEN TOWNSLEY BRINKMANN (Class of 1971)
I was Colleen Townsley - my mom from India and my dad, American. I lived in Old Delhi. I currently live in Dallas, Texas, and often hang out with classmate Carol Rizzie York. Here is a very recent photo of us at her brother, Dan's, art event. He is a famous artist.
I will be in Delhi next February for a quick visit, maybe one week...for a wedding. It is our jamidar's grandson's wedding.
My sister Kay (Class of 1968) lives in San Jose, CA and is very well. We are close and stay in touch. - Colleen Townsley Brinkmann (email dated 3 March 2014)
FROM LUKE WILLSON (Class of 2004)
I'm glad to be part of the AISAES Alumni Network on Facebook. I visited AES (as it was known in my days) in January for the first time in 10 years, which was very cool. Lots of recognizable faces and pockets of campus that haven't changed. In many ways it feels very different from when I went there; but it seems like the vibe is still very much the same, which is what we all liked about it, I think.
I'm attaching some photos to this email. Feel free to put them on the website or Facebook.

JOSEPH ALLEN STEIN, ARCHITECT
From John Blee (Class of 1966)
Joe Stein was a gentle soul and I was privileged to go to school in a building that was organic, open, and settled into its site. I remember climbing onto the roof and feeling it was a sculpture garden. Stein also designed the Australian HIgh Commission opposite the American Embassy."

"I am attaching a link to three pages of an article that is in the November 2008 issue of Dwell Magazine (an American magazine devoted to modern architecture and design). It is about Mr. Joseph Stein, the architect who designed AES and several other buildings in Delhi. The third page has a photo of AES."
